Andy Whittington, a North Carolina native, began performing at the age of sixteen on the coast and plains of the Carolina. He was a four time A. J. Fletcher Scholar and received a B.A. in music from UNCW graduating cum laude. In 1999 he completed graduate work at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he studied with famed pianist and composer Donald Brown and noted jazz pedagogue, Jerry Coker. Andy currently performs regularly and teaches in the Wilmington area.
