Dean Teitelbaum Featured in Interview on UW-Madison SoE TV

Watson College Dean Kenneth Teitelbaum received the prestigious 2014-15 Distinguished Alumni Award from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Education. He recently reflected on his career, rewards found in the teaching profession and trends in education in an interview with UW-Madison associate dean Dawn Crim. 2014 Alumni Survey Results Posted; 2015 Survey Underway

Since 2013, the Watson College has conducted an annual alumni survey as part of the continuous improvement work of the college. Results of the 2014 survey are available on the Assessment Office webpage. The 2015 survey will be conducted in May and June. More

Online Learning is Topic of Scholarship Brown Bag Event, Recent Publication

Somer Lewis and Amy Garrett Dikkers shared research titled “Online and Blended Learning for At-Risk Youth” at a Scholarship Series Brown Bag event at the college in April. During the presentation they discussed New Hanover County’s transition to online summer coursework, a move that may provide a model for credit recovery programs in other school districts in the state and nation.More
