Onslow Extension Site

Academics

Since 1995, the UNCW Onslow Extension Site has provided access to degree completion programs as well as post graduate degrees for residents of Onslow County and surrounding regions. Students applying to the UNCW Onslow Extension Site should have completed their general university studies prior to enrolling in the programs offered at the Extension Site.

The 16 Universities in the University of North Carolina and the North Carolina Community Colleges are committed to simplifying the transfer process with a statewide agreement governing the transfer of credits between N.C. community colleges and state public universities. UNCW, working in partnership with North Carolina Community Colleges, allows students to complete the required university studies in Onslow County prior to transferring to UNCW.
