EFFECTIVE AUGUST 2009 - NEW GRANT SUBMISSION PROCESS

Over the last three months the Office of Research Services and Sponsored Programs has been deploying an electronic proposal development, routing, and award management system called RAMSeS. This system replaces our internal processing forms and our award management database. You will find significant improvements in your ability to quickly prepare and route your contract or grant proposal for review and submission.

The system is web based and located at www.uncw.edu/research (click on the RAMSeS link on the left side navigation bar). Use your UNCW domain name and password. The first screen is a proposal and award dashboard. The navigation bar on the left is where you can prepare a contract or grant proposal or manage an award; it is also used to certify or approve a proposal on which you are named.
