INTERNAL PROCESSING FORMS                                                                            

The Principal Investigator is responsible for the preparation of the proposal and for obtaining approval signatures on the Internal Processing Form from the Department Head.  The PI must answer completely the entire form.  The current UNCW Internal Processing Form can be obtained here.   These forms will change frequently to keep pace with the Federal Government's changes in policies and procedures on external funding.  Please check this website prior to each submission to ensure you have the most current version.

The purpose of these forms is to: (1) inform department chairpersons, deans, center/ institute directors, and vice chancellors of the proposed activity and request their approval of the proposed use of personnel, facilities, and other resources for which they are responsible; and (2) ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, sponsor requirements and the policies and procedures of the University.
