Assigned Community Service

Whether you have been assigned community service hours by a professor or to meet conduct requirements, our office can help you get involved with a project. Many of our partner organizations have programs that need volunteers and can work with students' varying schedules.

To schedule volunteer opportunities with any of the below organizations, please contact them directly.

Bargain Box of Wilmington: Offering quality, gently used items at an affordable price for consumers, proceeds benefit Good Shepherd Center.

Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina: Collecting & sorting food for those in need; speaking on behalf of the organization.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Rebuilding and repairing homes for low-income people in need. Volunteers are neede to help sort items at the ReStore which benefits their projects.

Salvation Army: Thrift store, kitchen, & shelter options for those in need. Volunteers are needed in many capacities.

Vintage Values: Thrift shops benefiting the Domestic Violence Shelter & Services, Inc of Wilmington. Volunteers will participate in sorting items to be sold.
