Point to Point Shuttle New Pick-up/Drop-off Locations (Fall and Spring ONLY)

We are pleased to announce the Point to Point Shuttle has been a tremendous success since we began operating the after-hours route in the fall.

As of this month, we have serviced over 2,100 customers and the demand is continuing to grow. To increase our ability to better-serve our customers, and to meet the growing demand of the shuttle, three standing on-campus pick-up/drop-off locations will be implemented:

  1. Randall Library Parking Lot
  2. Student Recreation Center Shuttle Stop
  3. Teal Terminal @ UNCW Station (Burney Loop)

The shuttle will begin pick-up/drop-off on campus at location 1 (Randall Library), then proceed to location 2 (Rec Center), and finally to location 3 (Teal Terminal/Burney Loop).

It will then transport customers to the requested off campus drop-off/pick-up locations (within the one mile radius) before returning to campus to begin the point-to-point on-campus loop described above.

We expect this change to increase our ability to increase efficiency and decrease the expected wait time for riders.
