Quality Enhancement for Non-Profit Organizations (QENO)

QENO, a multi-agency partnership, builds the capacity of nonprofit organzations and increases philanthropy in southeastern North Carolina. QENO is a partnership between UNCW, funders, civic leaders and other community organizations to help build the capacity of nonprofit organizations and increase philanthropy in southeastern North Carolina. QENO currently works within a ten county radius and with more than 2,000 501(c)(3) organizations in the health, human services, arts, environmental and educational sectors. More

The Small Business and Technology Development Center is a business development service of The University of North Carolina system that provides management counseling and education services to small and mid-sized businesses in all of North Carolina‘s 100 counties. The SBTDC at UNCW provides services in New Hanover, Pender, Onslow, Duplin, Brunswick, Bladen and Columbus counties. One of the strongest and most comprehensive examples of university–school partnerships in the nation is the exemplary Watson College of Education Professional Development System Partnership. CREST Research Park

The CREST Research Park is one of the most advanced biotechnology research centers on the East Coast. Operated by the University of North Carolina Wilmington, the park offers flexible research space for established firms, entrepreneurial start-ups, government agencies and universities focusing on biotechnology, analytical and environmental sciences, and early stage pharmaceutical research and development.
