To provide insight into how the UNCW

Arboretum is maintained, we have created

a series of instructional "how to" tips.

These tips reflect the landscape management techniques used by the university's Landscape Services department. Our techniques may be quite different than yours. Everything from weather conditions to personal preferences influence how plants are managed. You may find equal or greater success using other methods. The tips that we share below are based on our practices at the UNCW Arboretum. We hope you find them helpful.
