RE: Armed Robbery on Racine Drive in front of Campus Walk Apartments
At about 1:15 am, Friday, September 8, 2006 two females were robbed at gunpoint at 469 Racine Dr, Campus Walk Apartments, in the city of Wilmington.
The victims said they were sitting in front of their Campus Walk apartment when they were robbed of their wallets. The men then ran on foot in the direction of Campus Edge apartments. They were reportedly armed with a shotgun and a pistol.
The victims described the suspects as follows:
Suspect No. 1: Unknown age, black male, about 5’11” tall with an average body type last know to be wearing black pants and black shirt with a white handkerchief over his face.
Suspect No. 2: Unknown age, black male, about 6’1” tall with an average body type last know to be wearing black pants and black shirt with a white handkerchief over his face.
Weapons: 1 black and brown shotgun unknown make or type and 1 black handgun unknown make or type
These suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Wilmington Police Department at (910) 343-3600 or Emergency 911.
