Scholarship Opportunities
Students in the Pre-Engineering Transfer Program are eligible for the same UNCW scholarships
as other UNCW students. There are no scholarships specifically dedicated
to Pre-Engineering Transfer students at the present time. The following off-campus
scholarship opportunities are available to UNCW Pre-Engineering Transfer students:
- NCSU College of Engineering transfer scholarship (see the Director
for an application)
- the L. L. Vaughn
Scholars Program offered by the North Carolina Association of
Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors
- the Ronald C. Harrell Scholarship offered by the North Carolina
Society of Engineers (pdf file)
- Home Builders Association of Charlotte, Women's Council (pdf file)
For women in transportation:
On occassion, professional engineering societies in the Wilmington
area will offer scholarships to our students.
