We support all campus-wide programming that will assist you in doing so. UNCW Law School Day
Monday, October 31st in Burney Center
Law Panel: 12:00noon – 1:00pm
A panel of law school representatives will discuss and answer questions about how to be a competitive applicant for law school, how to prepare for the LSAT, the importance of different application sections, what it is actually like to be a student in law school or a working lawyer, and other practical insights for students interested in law school.
Law School Fair: 1:00pm – 3:00pm
The fair is designed to permit exchange of information, provide clarification to student questions, and allow students the opportunity to gather info about various law school programs.
Tuesday, November 1st from 3:30-4:45pm in Dobo 205
Bring your questions and be ready to hear from several healthcare practitioners from a variety of health-related fields, including pharmacy, medicine, physician assistant, and more. Panelists will discuss their tips for success as students and professionals, share their personal and professional journeys, and answer questions.
Monday, November 7th in McNeill Hall Multipurpose Room 1051
Networking Hour – 10am-11am
Discuss and explore internship and job opportunities with representatives from regional hospitals, health-related employers and other employers interested in hiring students. This event is open to all students interested in working with health-related employers, not just Nursing students.
Pre-Health Organization Carnival
Thursday, November 17th from 9-9pm in the Student Union lobby
Visit with representatives from health related student organizations at UNCW and learn about opportunities for involvement on campus. Network with other pre-health students and enjoy free food.
