| The creator of the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt, and founder of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Cleve Jones has contributed to understanding and hope for those with the disease. His advocacy, which began with his friendship with gay rights activist Harvey Milk, reaches further, focusing on empowering people of all ethnicities and sexual orientations.
