Event Volunteers
Event volunteers help to ensure each event runs as smoothly as possible. Whether it's helping a band set up equipment, hanging art, handing out playbills and welcoming audience members, selling merchandise and concessions, or running any of the dozen last minute errands that always crop up before a show, volunteers make everything better.
Volunteers receive a free ticket to the event, but, more importantly, they get to interact with the performers, artists, or lecturers personally as well as see what goes on "behind-the-scenes." It's hands-on experience, fun, and can be profitable, too! A past student volunteer was recruited as a researcher by Arianna Huffington and acknowledged in her latest book!
