Ed2Go

Ed2Go provides students with courses that can meet job requirements or lead to personal growth in a convenient and self-paced way.  The Ed2Go course delivery system has been used at UNCW since 2002 for its online, noncredit short courses.  These courses can serve as an introduction to higher education and connect students to the university without requiring registering as a for-credit student.  Because UNCW is considered a vendor for Ed2Go, we are able to offer these courses at very low rates. For example, the Ed2Go online test prep is offered at a cost of $89 for six weeks.

VESi

Virtual Education Software, Inc. provides self-paced professional development courses for teachers with an emphasis on student behavior.  Qualifying for continuing education units (CEUs) is the key driver for student enrollment.  The Office of Professional Education has worked with VESi since 2007 in conjunction with UNCW’s Watson College of Education. The Top 5 VESi courses for Education (2007-10) were Reading Fundamentals, Behavior is Language, Autism & Asperger's Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and Attention Deficit Disorder. Course prices vary.
