Autism Takes Flight!

UNCW's Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Program, Coastal Autism Solutions, and Cape Fear ABA are partnering with Wilmington International Airport to offer families of children with special needs a unique opportunity to experience the airport. The process of going to the airport and taking a flight can be overwhelming for any family, but there are unique challenges when bringing a child with special needs. This event will provide families with the chance to practice the entire process, including getting a boarding pass, checking a bag, going through security, waiting at the gate, and viewing a plane. Board Certified Behavior Analysts will be there to provide families with assistance, tips for success, and materials they can take home for future use.
