Most term codes follow the pattern below:
- xxxx10 - Fall term
- xxxx20 - Spring term
- xxxx30 - Summer I term (2008 and before)
- xxxx40 - Summer II term (2008 and before)
- xxxx60 - Summer term (2009 and later)
"xxxx" refers to the year that ends the academic year. For example, fall 2006 was in the 2006-2007 academic year, so the code is 200710.
