Outside agencies, businesses, and organizations should submit a Student Data Request form.
Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Act, the university is required to release electronic mail addresses in its directory upon request. However, please be aware that requestors of directory information are prohibited from using these electronic mail addresses in violation of the federal CAN-SPAM Act, which establishes requirements for those who send commercial email, spells out penalties for spammers and companies whose products are advertised in spam if they violate the law, and gives consumers the right to ask emailers to stop spamming them.
