College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
Students who are talented and well-prepared may receive credit at University of North Carolina Wilmington for achieving acceptable scores on the CLEP examinations, which are 90-minute, timed comprehensive tests. For most examinations, specific course credit is awarded; for some examinations elective credit is awarded. The CLEP examinations are offered on a daily basis. Reservations may be made by calling the University Testing Services at 910-962-7444 to register. There is a fee of $80.00 per test. Listed below are the various CLEP examinations, required minimum scores, UNC Wilmington course equivalents, and credit awarded. Please check those examinations for which you wish to register.
