UNCW researcher Caroline Clements was recently interviewed on local radio station WHQR about her work surveying local adolescents about behaviors that become health risks (smoking, drinking, drugs, violence, sexual behavior.)
In partnership with the Center for Disease Control, which has been collecting data on a state-wide level for years, Clements began surveying New Havover County middle and high school students in 2005.
"To my knowledge, it's the only county-level data in the nation," Clements explains in the interview. Listen here.
