Water-related Research

Island and Coastal Environmental Research

 

Dr. Doug Gamble, Geology and Giography, is currently interested in applied climatology and hydrology, island/coastal environments, the Southeast and the Caribbean.

 

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and faculty member of Biology and Marine Biology, Dr. Paul Hosier, is primarily interested in researching the ecological and geologic processes on barrier islands and beaches in the southeastern United States.

 

Dr. David Webster,Biology and Marine Biology and Dean of the Graduate School, studies barrier Islands and coastal upland habitats and their integral part of the estuarine and near-shore ocean systems.
