We also collaborate closely with the Graduate School and the Graduate Student Association (GSA) to regularly offer programs and events that will appeal to graduate students.
How Can I Get Involved in Graduate Student Life at UNCW?
- Check out events sponsored by our office specifically for graduate students. Look for email announcements in your UNCW student email account sent out by the Graduate School or check our own events calendar for more information. Previous events have included panel discussions about grad student life, financial planning, and tax preparation workshops for first-time home buyers, and presentations about advanced research techniques for grad students.
- Become a member of the Graduate Student Association. The GSA meets regularly on campus and their mission is to "encourage, recognize, and assist all graduate students academically and socially, as well as to promote the interests and welfare of graduate students within the university."
