SEWSA 2014 provides a forum to analyze, discuss, and represent diverse histories, theories, and actions that revisit and reexamine feminisms. The conference invites conversations surrounding The Ebb and Flow: Navigating the Changing Landscapes of Feminism that are transformative in the interdisciplinary study of women, gender, and sexuality. The conference will foster a vigorous, open and inclusive dialogue about different avenues to change and transformation. Reflections on changes in feminisms, and all forms of political action, from rage to compromise, will be considered. All disciplines and levels of scholarship are welcome.
Registration includes access to all sessions, keynotes, performances, receptions, Friday lunchbox, and Saturday SEWSA luncheon. While covered by the registration fee, both lunches require tickets. Please indicate attendance at all catered events when registering for the conference.
In order to present at SEWSA 2014, you need to do three important things:

- Undergraduate & Graduate Students* & those making less than $15,000/year: $15
- Adjuncts, & those making $15,000 to $29,999/year: $30
- Faculty & those making $30,000 to $49,999/year: $40
- Faculty & those making $50,000+/year: $50
*Student Membership - Fee Waived (Need Code). ONLY choose this option if you have received a "SEWSA Student Fee Waiver Code" from your college, university or organization. This is associated with SEWSA Institutional Memberships only. Two student waivers are allowed per institutional member. Please note that waivers apply to SEWSA membership dues, not to the conference registration fee.

On-site registration and membership transactions will be accepted at the conference, Clock Tower Lounge, FSC, beginning Thursday, March 27, at 10am. All on-site registrations will be charged the “Late Registration” rates.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: Requests for refunds will be honored when received prior to Thursday, March 13, 2013. A $10 administrative fee will be deducted for any cancellations, regardless of date. In the unlikely event that this program is cancelled or postponed due to insufficient enrollments or unforeseen circumstances, UNC Wilmington will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for any other expenses, including cancellation or change charges implemented by airlines, hotels, travel agencies, or other organizations.

The conference will take place on the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s campus. Information on hotel accommodations conference-group rates and deadlines can be found here. Room reservations must be made directly with the hotel of your choice.

Student travel grants of up to $100 each will be awarded to students presenting papers at the SEWSA conference who attend college within the southeastern region. A total of $1,500 is available for student travel grants to the annual SEWSA conference. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. Applications deadline TBA.
