Outstanding Students

Congratulations to Stephanie Nmashie, one of six student winners of the 2012 Making a Difference (MAD) to NC Award. Stephanie won for her research poster presentation at this year's Graduate Research Symposium entitled: "The Ghanaian Aging Experience: Comparing and Contrasting Aging in Place and Migrating to the U.S." Additionally, Stephanie will be presenting her research work on April 20 at the 2012 Southern Gerontological Society Conference in Nashville, TN.
Rhonda A. Smith was a recipient of a graduate summer (2011) research award for her project on "Impact of Combat on Adult Children of Vietnam Veterans".
