Obesity Prevention Initiative
The Obesity Prevention Initiative (OPI) is a diverse community collaboration
that was established in 2005 through Cape Fear Healthy Carolinians. Our mission
is to increase the healthy weights of Cape Fear residents. We are dedicated to
the institution of comprehensive plans and enduring systematic changes that will
result in increased physical activity levels and healthier eating patterns.
