Health Assessment Laboratory (2004)
The Health Assessment Laboratory supports student learning of health assessment skills. The Health Assessment Lab features 3 patient care units including hospital bed, bedside cabinet, and overbed table, and 4 patient care units including exam table, bedside cabinet, and overbed table. All 9 units are separated by privacy curtains. The Lab also houses a conference table and chairs for 16, and a flat screen. Six Vital Sim™ manikins, wall mounted diagnostic units, and task trainers enrich learning activities in this lab. Pan-tilt cameras and microphones located above each patient area allow AV capture and recording from the remote control room.
