Maternal-Infant Laboratory (2015)
The Maternal-Infant Laboratory supports student learning of patient care skills for the maternal and infant population, in addition to high fidelity simulation. The Maternal-Infant Lab includes a flat screen, 2 birthing patient care units, one infant warmer, one neonatal crib, one incubator and 2 bassinets. Pan-tilt cameras and microphones located above each bed and infant warmer allow AV capture and recording from both the observation room and the remote control room.
Maternal- Infant Observation Room (2017) has 2 operator chairs, mounted desk counter for simulator control equipment, talkback microphone and monitor loudspeaker to Maternal-Infant Lab and flat panel display.
