SMEC Projects & Programs
Our current programs and projects are designed to enhance teaching skills and content knowledge.
Technology Loan Program: Teachers who have completed appropriate workshops sponsored by the Science & Mathematics Education Center such as Introduction to Biotechnology and StarLab Planetarium are eligible to reserve equipment for up to two weeks through TLP. Bridges is a North Carolina MSP partnership of the UNCW Science and Mathematics Education Center with Onslow County Schools, Carteret County Schools and the NCSU Science House. The focus of this project is elementary mathematics.
