The Science and Mathematics Education Center proudly sponsors the Southeast Regional Science Fair with support from the Chancellor's Office at the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
The 2009 Southeast Regional Science Fair was held Saturday, February 14, 2009 on the UNCW campus in Hanover Hall Gym. There were 216 students in grades 3-12 registered, representing 57 public and private schools from 8 different counties. Brittany Williams' project "Heat Reflectivity and Absorption," entered in the Junior Physical Science category from St. Mark's Catholic School was selected as the Wayne Hanson Best in Fair winner!
