Professional Experience
Susan Sinclair Roberts, PhD has expertise pharmacoepidemiology and health outcomes research with emphasis on post-marketing safety registries. Prior to joining UNCW in 2006, Dr. Roberts was an Associate Director in the Registries and Epidemiology department at Kendle International. From 1998 to 2004, Dr. Roberts worked for PPD as a biostatistician, pharmacoepidemiologist, and Associate Director of the Health Outcomes department. Dr. Roberts served as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) from 1996 to 1998 and studied occupational lung disease. Dr. Roberts was a critical care nurse for 10 years, 6 of which were spent at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
