Seahawk Stories: Maddie Picken '23

When she was three, Maddie Picken’s mother asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up. She answered, “a nurse.” Picken stayed true to her dream and her word and in May, she officially graduated from UNCW as an RN.

Maddie Picken, wearning a black graduation cap and gown with a teal stole and purple cord around her neck, stands in front of three tall columns with her arms crossed and has a big smile on her face.
