Performing Arts Student Organizations

Gospel Choir: Ministering to UNCW and the Wilmington community through song.

Hip Hop Dance Club: Provides an alternative dance program to enrich the culture of UNCW and to represent UNCW at community events.

Lumina Dance: Aims to expand ballroom dancing awareness on campus, promote collegiate involvement and competitive goals and further dancesport interaction on campus by practicing and performing various styles of dance such as swing, salsa, merengue, rumba, and waltz.

Pep Band (UNCW): Provides school spirit, musical entertainment, and university representation at UNCW events.

Student Theatrical Artists with Great Expectations (STAGE): Offers students the opportunity to participate in theatre related activities not provided in the curriculum in addition to supporting those already offered.

Straightway Broadcasting: Hosts and produces positive and faith based entertainment on campus including music concerts, movies, speakers, and a music video show called "Straightway".

Visual Arts

Art Circle: Exists to bring students together outside of class in oder to share and exchange experiences and information concerning the visual arts.

Flicker Film Society: Makes, learns about and writes about movies. Aspiring film makers are encouraged to start here.
