Global Serve: To educate students, faculty and staff members concerning global issues and provide service to communities in need.
Habitat for Humanity: This student chapter works to build or rehabilitate houses in partnership with Habitat affiliates, educate the campus and community about affordable housing issues, and raise funds for Habitat work.
Honors Scholar Association: To provide all UNCW Honors Scholars with a variety of service, social, cultural, scholarly, and leadership opportunities.
Manna Project International-Wilmington: The purpose of MPI-W is for current college students and alumni to have the opportunity to apply their education, expertise, and passion for service to communities in developing countries as well as local communities. MPI-W believes that elements of progress are already within grasp in these communities, and if given access to basic ideas and resources, these communities will be self-sufficient. The project aims to increase the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the people we serve through initiatives in the areas of sports, literacy, health care and the arts.
Parrot Head Club: Strives to provide a variety of volunteer efforts in the local community for social and environmental causes.
Rotaract: exists to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal and professional development.
Social Work Club: Promotes awareness and understanding of social welfare, techniques, process, and methodology as well as serving as a network with campus and community activities for better outcomes in society.
Student Ambassadors: Exists to serve past, present and future UNCW alumni by giving tours of campus and providing various other activities that promote and advance the University.
Student Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC): Promotes knowledge of the exceptional population and provides activities and special events for this population.
Students Interested in the Advancement of Medical Technology: Serves to aid in raising funds and awareness for non-profit organizations dedicated to the advancement of medical technology. The goal is to set up numerous fundraising events every year in order to accomplish this. SIAMT also seek to educate its members on the rapid developments within medical technology.
Surfrider (UNCW Chapter of the Cape Fear Surfrider Foundation): Dedicated to protecting the ocean, waves, and beaches for all people through conservation, activism, research, and education.
