Student Organization Appreciation Day
The 2006 Student Organization Appreciation Day is planned for Thursday, April 6, 2006 and will surely be a great success! We will be recognizing six out of the ten Student Organization Leadership Award winners - Outstanding Publicity Campaign, Outstanding Multicultural Program, Outstanding Social Program, Outstanding Educational Program, Outstanding Community Service, and the Outstanding New Student Leader - as well as the nominees in the four remaining categories - Student Organization of the Year, Outstanding Student Leader, Unsung Hero and Advisor of the Year. This is a great time to celebrate the achievements of our student organizations and also to be recognized amongst peers for all that they do.
In addition to recognizing some of our annual awards, we also provideFREE food for all attendees and give away some great door prizes. This year's event will be held in UU100 from 11am - 2pm. The Student Leader Photo will be taken around 12:15pm and the awards ceremony will begin at approximately 12:45pm. Be sure to have your organization leaders present for these two great recognition opportunities.

ALL student organization leaders (not just officers) are invited to come out and be in the annual student leader photo. The 2005 picture was taken on Thursday, April 14 in the University Union.
The Student Leader Photo has been an annual Spring Semester tradition, but in April 2004 we expanded the tradition into an entire day to thank our student organization leaders.
