The summer orientation involvement carnivals enable your student organization to promote itself to incoming Freshmen attending Summer Orientation!
Where
In the courtyard between the Fisher Student Center and Fisher University Union.
There will also be live music and food set up in the courtyard.
Rain location: Warwick Center Ballroom
Time
9:15-11p.m.
Organizations need to arrive to set up around 8:45 p.m.
When
Summer 2008 dates: June 2, 4, 9, 11, 16 & 18 (Mondays & Wednesdays)
Other Helpful Info
• If you need electricity, plan to get their early so you
can set up your table next to an electrical outlet. Bring your own
extension cord as well.
• Student organizations are responsible for setting
up/breaking down their own table and chairs. Only one table
and two chairs will be made available for participating groups.
• If you have a banner, bring it! If you don’t have
a banner for your group consider having one made! You can use it
again and again at annual events such as the Fall Involvement Carnival,
Spring Activities Fair, and I.O.C. Yard Sale.
• Feel free to bring freebies (candy, Frisbees, notepads with
your organization’s logo, etc.) to attract people to your
table.
Registration forms are availablein the Involvement Center, FSC 2029 and are due back about 2 weeks prior to the first Orientation session. Please note that space is limited however, and registration is first-come, first-serve.
