smaller version of the Fall Involvement Carnival, the Spring Activities
Fair is an excellent event for promoting your student organization. We focus on promoting this event to our new transfer students, as well as our returning students who are really looking to get more involved in their college experience. Student groups should consider using colorful
displays or providing free give-a-ways to draw students to their table. Also, be sure to bring sign-up sheets and information about your first meeting for the Spring semester.
Note: This event is only open to registered UNCW student organizations and select UNCW departments.
When is it?
This event is held the first Thursday after the Spring semester's Drop/Add deadline. This enables our transfer students to settle into their new environment a bit before jumping in with both feet. This year's event will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2006 from 11am and 2pm.
Where?
The Warwick Center Lobby and Ballroom. Space is limited, so be sure to get your registration forms in early.
How do I sign up?
Registration forms for the Spring '06 Activities Fair are now available! Find a copy in your student organization mailbox in the UU205, The Involvement Center, or download one here. Again, space is limited so registration will occur on a first come, first serve basis. In the event that we run out of space, we may ask organizations to share a table and may also be unable to provide chairs for those individuals staffing the tables. (Sorry - that's a fire code issue and will be strictly enforced if necessary.)
