Making a Difference

The Making a Difference Award is a monthly award given by the Campus Activities & Involvement Center during the academic year. The purpose of this award is to recognize and honor student organizations that are making a difference on campus, in the Wilmington community, or those that have made an impact in the world at large. Winning organizations receive a certificate and have a duplicate certificate displayed in the Involvement Center of the Fisher Student Center.

How can your group be considered for this award?
Anyone may nominate a registered organization for this award - student organization leaders, advisors, community members... anyone. There is no form to fill out. Nominators should simply send an email to activities@uncw.edu by 12:00 noon on the 1st business day of the following month (specific deadlines are noted below), detailing what the organization did during the relative month to make a difference.
