Performing Arts Student Organizations

Gospel Choir: Ministering to UNCW and the Wilmington community through song.

High Seas - A Cappella Club: Promotes campus involvement, enhances musicality at UNCW, and develops individual talent through participation in the club. The High Seas plan to perform throughout the year as a way of promoting the organization and the art of a cappella music.

Hip Hop Dance Club: Provides an alternative dance program to enrich the culture of UNCW and to represent UNCW at community events.

Pep Band (UNCW): Provides school spirit, musical entertainment, and university representation at UNCW events.

Student Theatrical Artists with Great Expectations (STAGE): Offers students the opportunity to participate in theatre related activities not provided in the curriculum in addition to supporting those already offered.

Visual Arts

Art Circle: Exists to bring students together outside of class in oder to share and exchange experiences and information concerning the visual arts.

Flicker Film Society: Makes, learns about and writes about movies. Aspiring film makers are encouraged to start here.
