Discover Outdoor Programs provides a variety of quality outdoor gear for rent by all UNCW students, faculty, and staff. Rental equipment is the sole responsibility of the renter. Equipment reservations can be made with a deposit of the total rental fee. The user must cancel equipment reservation 24 hours prior to checkout time or no rental fees will be refunded.
Daily rates are from the time of checkout until 2 p.m. the following day. Weekend rates are from time of checkout on Friday until 2 p.m. the following Monday. Late equipment return will be subject to a late fee of 11/2 times the daily rental rate of the item. Returned equipment must be in checkout condition, or repair and damage charges will be assessed accordingly.
