Conference Assistant
A conference assistant is responsible for helping to coordinate conferences or large events that are occurring in the University Union/Warwick Center. This person's duties will vary according to what each individual conference or event requires of them, but in general, the following duties are applicable; supporting conference registration, making copies, operating the GOBOT, contacting the building manager on duty for extra equipment, and acting as host/hostess for our facility. This job may require attendance at a pre-planning meeting with the contact person for the conference or event, the Reservations and Events Coordinator, and the Building Services Coordinator.
Starting Pay Rate: $6.20
A Conference Assistant will become proficient in the following areas by conscientiously completing their duties:

General Expectations
Each service area has a dress code. If hired, you will be given the appropriate attire and a nametag that must be worn at all times when you are on duty.
The schedule for Conference Assistants will vary due to the nature of the position, but if you commit to working the dates of a conference or event you must be there on time and ready to work.
It is expected that you will attend any meetings required before the conference or event.
