NEWS:

The Campus Environmental Stewardship Committee has issued its Recommendations for UNC Wilmington Natural Areas, including the main campus forest and the campus in general, the Bluethenthal Wildflower Preserve, the Ev-Henwood property and the Broadfoot property. Consideration of recommendations set forth in the document will involve a number of different actions or responses: hiring various consultants, discussions with the City of Wilmington, administrative decisions, budget reallocation
decisions and Board of Trustees action. University administrators will review these recommendations and determine which are in the best long-term interest of the university.
