The UNCW Counseling Center is currently unable to offer training opportunities.

The externship is envisioned as the capstone training
experience for appropriately prepared graduate students in Counseling,
Clinical Social Work or Psychology. This experience is viewed
as a crucial time for the assimilation and integration of knowledge
and skills in order to assist the professional and personal development
of the extern. Candidates who wish to extern at the UNCW Counseling
Center should be prepared to make a commitment for one academic year,
from August through May.
