Strategy Enhancement for Achievement
SEALab was established with the goal of better meeting the needs of students who have identified themselves to Disability Services as having a disability. These students are able to schedule individual
sessions with an experienced Learning Specialist to address improving overall academic achievement through the use of strategies and techniques in areas such as: Notetaking, Testing, Content Reading, Study Skills, and Time Management.
Personnel is also available to discuss issues relating to an individual’s understanding
of a disability, self-advocacy, using appropriate
accommodations and using accommodations appropriately, setting and planning goals, and obtaining balance in life.
Call 962-7846 or 962-7555 to arrange an appointment to
meet individually with Chris Stone, Assistant Director/Learning Specialist.
Students registered with Disability Services are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity.
