Get in the Zone: Fall Parking Registration Begins April 1!

Register online for parking right after you register for classes. Registration is prioritized by class as usual, but after June 30, permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of class standing. So don’t delay! Register as soon as you are eligible. Remember, the permit price will be put on your student account for the fall semester, so you don’t have to pay now. For more info, go to www.uncw.edu/parking/

Attention University Community: New Parking Code Ammendment Areas Near UNCW and New Speed Limit on Wood Dale Drive (near UNCW's Graham-Hewlett Halls). For more information, CLICK HERE.

 About the Seahawk Perch

Perch Resource Counter

The Seahawk Perch is UNCW's Center for Commuter and Non-Traditional Student Services. We are a service of the Office of the Dean of Students, and part of UNCW's Division of Student Affairs. We proudly serve UNCW's undergraduate and graduate populations, and extend all of our services to University faculty and staff as well.

The "Perch," as it is affectionately known by UNCW students, consists of both a Resource Center and a Lounge Area in the Fisher Student Center, room 1012. The Resource Center is staffed by friendly student assistants who can help you get acclimated to the university, find off-campus housing, get involved with student organizations, and meet other commuter or non-traditional students. The lounge area has been designated specifically for commuter and non-traditional students, and features comfy seating, dining and study areas, a TV/VCR, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee-maker and computer for short-term use. Students may also check out a laptop from the nearby Information Center for use in the commuter lounge.
