Every Semester our Fraternities and Sororities accept new members into their organizations. Below are the dates for the formal recruitment periods for the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council.
Sorority Recruitment: September 2nd - 8th.
Fraternity Recruitment: September 15th - 20th

Greek Affairs would like to congratulate our Top 3 Fraternities and Sororities
for their commitment to the member's academics:
Fraternities: Alpha Tau Omega (3.10), Delta Tau Delta (3.05), and Omega Psi Phi (3.01)
Sororities: Alpha Xi Delta (3.30), Alpha Gamma Delta (3.24), and Sigma Alpha Omega (3.22)

The UNCW Greek community strives to mold morally upstanding leaders who
maintain their individual organizations high ideals while collaborating to
achieve success in leadership, scholarship, friendship, and service.
Fraternity and Sorority Life at UNCW
Fraternities and sororities (Greek-letter organizations) are student organizations that focus on the fundamental values of academic success, community service, leadership, and the development of life long friendships. Depending on their national affiliation, our fraternities and sororities are governed by the Interfraternity Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council Greek Alliance Council and National Panhellenic Council. Our University is highly committed to the development of a fraternity and sorority community that is intolerant of hazing, affirming of every person's value and promotes the well-being of each member.
