Summer housing will be available for both summer sessions in the University Apartments, A and B, and in addition, single and double occupancy will be available in Belk Hall.
Single occupancy rooms will be available on a first come first serve basis.
If you are interested in signing up for a room, please come to the Housing Office to complete a summer housing contract. In addition, you must pay a $50 summer housing non-refundable pre-payment toward the cost of your room
If you wish to reclaim your current space for summer, you must complete a summer housing contract before April 17.
For an additional charge of $40.00, you may choose the spring/summer roll-over option, which allows you to move directly into your summer assignment the day after the halls close for the spring semester. If you wish to take advantage of this option, please complete the necessary paperwork at the time you submit your summer contract and pre-payment.
Dates for 2008 summer session housing are as follows:
Summer Session I May 13, 2008 – June 18, 2008
Summer Session II June 22, 2008 – July 26, 2008
Dates for room selection sign-up are as follows:
Same room sign-up: March 27 through April 16
Time 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
All other students: Begins April 17
If a student is taking courses during both summer sessions, the student can remain in on-campus housing between the end of Summer Session I and the beginning of Summer Session II.
No housing will be available between the end of summer session II and the opening of the student residences for the 2008 fall semester. All residents will be required to check out at the end of second summer session at 10:00 a.m. on July 26.
If you are moving from spring housing over to summer housing, you must have completed your check out process from your current space, with your RA, by 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 9.
Check-in will take place in Belk Hall from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9. You will receive your room key when you check-in at the front desk of Belk Hall.
