Find Honors House on the map
Honors House, along with Cornerstone Hall and International House, is a part of a dynamic community referred to as Tri-House. Built in 1998, Honors House is a co-educational building that houses 100 students, in groups of 25 per single-sex wing. First-year Honors Scholars who choose to live on campus are assigned to Honors Housing to nurture a living and learning environment, as space allows. Students often enroll in smaller seminar style honors classes and interact with others a part of the Honors Scholars programs both in and out of the classroom. All UNCW students who fulfill the eligibility requirements are welcome to complete an application to live in this unique environment. Amenities of Honors Hall include: free laundry machines on each floor, security cameras in the front entrance, perimiters, and stairwells, vending and ice machines in the main lobby, programming space for community building, multiple flat screen televisions in the main lobby, and recycling bins.
