What is the Teaching Fellows Floor?

One of the great opportunities for UNCW residents, in addition to receiving the best education for future teachers in the state, is the chance to live on the Education floor in Schwartz Hall.  The residents are UNCW’s Teaching Fellows and other freshmen who plan to major in education.  The pod setting allows for students to build strong bonds with each other and to establish a network of future colleagues in the teaching profession.  Special programs related to education issues are planned by the Resident Advisor; they include speakers as well as community service projects for schools.
