Students also have access to Residential Networking (ResNet), a cooperative program between Client Services and University Housing provided to all students living in campus housing. Each residence hall room is equipped with network ports that allow students to have a high-speed connection to the Internet. The cost of an Ethernet connection has been included in the residence hall room rent. The student needs to provide the Ethernet card or adapter for their computer and any Internet software they choose to use. A Residential Computing Assistant (RCA) is a student employee of Client Services who supports the Ethernet network connection in residence hall rooms. RCAs also support the residence hall computer labs. Students should call the ResNet Support Desk at 962-4002 or the Technology Assistance Center at 962-HELP (24357) if they cannot successfully connect their residence hall computer to the network.
