Advantages of On-Campus Living
The University currently has residence facilities for over 2, 884 students in eight modern, conveniently located residence halls, 19 apartment buildings, and seven suite style buildings and have a staff of over 100 people. We provide you with a wonderful place to stay and to enjoy your college experience!
We firmly believe that residence hall living contributes to the educational and developmental growth of our students. The residence halls are more than just a place to sleep and to study. We view residential living as an experience in human relations.
The research tells us that residential students (especially first year students) are more likely to:
- Perform better academically
- Have higher G.P.A.'s
- Have a higher retention rate
- Remain enrolled at UNCW
- Are more involved in campus activities, clubs and organizations
- Have a greater sense of connection and sense of belonging to the university
If there is anything our office can help you with, please do not hesitate to call, email, or stop by. We look forward to helping you enjoy the experience in any way possible.
