What is the LEAD Floor?
The LEAD (Leadership Education And Development) Floor offers resident students the unique opportunity to live in a community with other students who are interested in leadership. The LEAD Floor is coordinated between the Office of Housing and Residence Life and the Center for Leadership Education and Service (CLES). It is located on the fourth floor of Hewlett Hall and a maximum of 48 spaces are available, evenly divided between men and women.
The LEAD Floor is recommended for students who are interested in enhancing their leadership abilities and learning more about themselves. As service to the community and others is a strong component of effective leadership, the LEAD Floor philosohpy will include commitment to volunteerism, dedication to community development and hightened involvement in campus life. No previous leadership experience is required-only a desire to learn and be involved.
